SPIE Photonics Europe 2026

BROMEDIR attended SPIE Photonics Europe 2026, which took place from 12–16 April 2026 in Strasbourg, France. In total, three conference papers were accepted, two of which were presented as oral presentations and one as a poster presentation:

• Oral: 14088-33 – Unlocking Portable Mid-Infrared Fingerprint Sensing Applications Using Broadband Photonic MEMS FTIR
• Oral: 14088-36 – Overcoming Diffraction-Induced Interferogram Envelope Modulation in Miniaturized Wideband MEMS-Based FTIR Spectrometer
• Poster: 14086-119 – Overcoming The Black Plastics Sorting Barrier with a Portable Non-Destructive Specular-Reflection MEMS-FTIR Spectrometer

As part of the exhibition activities running in parallel with the conference, BROMEDIR was presented through the ECREAM cluster booth. The FTIR-based spectrometer was physically showcased at the booth, where live operation demonstrations were provided to several visitors from end-user application domains, as well as to exhibitors and companies from the integrated photonics industry interested in the miniaturised prototype technology developed within the project.
